Arbitration and mediation

Arbitration is also known as proceedings before a court of arbitration. A court of arbitration is a private court, either permanent or incidental, to which the parties entrust the settlement of their dispute on the basis of an agreement – an arbitration clause.

Mediation is a method of alternative dispute resolution, involving discussions with a mediator who is tasked with helping the parties reach an agreement.

During my legal training and practice, I have undergone numerous national and international training sessions on arbitration and mediation. I participated in the establishment of a permanent arbitration court at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Catholic University of Lublin, where I am listed as an arbitrator. 

I have been involved in many proceedings in construction, commercial, and sports arbitration. I have also participated in mediation proceedings in civil, criminal, and family matters, both during the trial and before its initiation.
