Contracts

The law of obligations is the most important area of my practice. Contracts are the foundation of economics in a free market economy. Every day, agreements are made between entrepreneurs and individuals. A properly drafted contract, clearly defining the scope of obligations of the parties, is the basis for successful business relationships. 

Upon request from clients, I draft contracts, examine contracts presented to me for potential risks, and design changes to existing contracts and the necessary documentation for their termination.

Disputes related to contracts often concern their non-performance or improper performance. They may include failure to meet deadlines, contractual penalties, inadequate quality, indexation of remuneration, or termination of contracts. I pursue claims related to contracts at all stages – from notification of the counterparty, through court or arbitration proceedings, to enforcement.
